So we are looking for a: Trainee System Administrator

 

A Trainee System Administrator is an entry-level position in the field of IT and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of an organization's computer systems and networks. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

·         Assisting senior administrators in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and system management tools

·         Learning and participating in the process of performing regular system backups and recovery procedures

·         Monitoring system performance and reporting any issues to senior administrators

·         Providing basic technical support to users for hardware and software-related issues

·         Assisting in managing user accounts, permissions, and security

·         Keeping up-to-date with the latest security patches and upgrades

Requirements for the role:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

·         Basic knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and/or macOS

·         Good understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

·         Strong desire to learn: the field of IT is constantly evolving, and a passionate Trainee System Administrator will have a strong desire to keep learning and growing their skills.

·         Attention to details: this role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when it comes to maintaining the stability and security of an organization's computer systems and networks.
