Who we are

 

The purpose of our paid part-time Embedded Academy is to guide the participants in the embedded software process and concepts that companies apply in daily working environment, by a hands-on development approach.
The program is aimed for students in their final 4th year or enroled in a Master's programme at one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or any other related field. 

We know that, as a student, it is important for you to have also good results in your academic activities, so we'll be flexible when you have the exam session or the Bachelor's/Master's exams. 

Sign-in period: 14th of December 2022 to 31st of January 2023
Duration: 4 months (20th of February - 20th of June 2023) with a part-time flexible schedule

 

What you'll be doing

 

• You will work in a team and develop a real-life functional automotive project. You will work with students from different locations (Brasov, Sibiu, Cluj) in an Agile manner, using specific embedded automotive tools. The automotive project will be based on the AutoSAR framework, and you will get the chance to work on different levels within the architecture (from low level drivers up to the application level)
• Get the chance to learn and improve your C programming concepts, needed in order to develop embedded applications
• Be coached by mentors that will help and support in your daily activities
• Have the oportunity at the end of the program to get hired and to work in a team that you already know
• Some of the tools you might use: Jira, Confluence, Notepad++, Eclipse, GitLab, SmartGit, MinGW, SeggerJLink, GnuArmEmbedded

 

What you'll bring along

 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or any other related field
• Basic knowledge of C programming and basic understanding of microcontrollers
• Experience on Embedded Development projects (personal or academic projects) is considered a plus
• Good logical thinking and a fast learning capacity
• Good knowledge of English
